Alexander Aronov, Candidate of Sciences, EMBA, founder and Managing Partner of the Law Offices «Aronov & Partners».

Alexander specializes in competition law, M&A, company law, legal support of construction, real estate transactions and litigation.

In 2006, Alexander graduated from the Moscow State Law Academy, specialization «Legal studies», qualification «lawyer». In 2011, he completed the study program «Enforcement of the national strategy for combating corruption in public and local self-government authorities». In 2012, he defended his thesis «Special aspects of investigation of crimes committed for the purpose of unlawful corporate takeovers». In 2013, he completed the study program of Continuing Professional Education «Director of Legal Services / Executive MBA» in FGAOU VPO «National Research University «Higher School of Economics».

Before establishment of the Law Offices Alexander Aronov worked in the Group of Companies «Eccort», local government authorities of the Moscow region and the Group of Companies «Delo».

When working as the head of the legal department of various companies, Alexander and his team has handled a great number of projects, including: issuance of bonds; structuring and legal support of M&A transactions; establishment of foreign holdings, raising loans and credits; provision, amendment and termination of warranties issued to secure credit obligations under English law; purchase and sale of vessels and lifting cranes.

He has also handled projects related to construction, including development of the project for construction of the Grain terminal with the capacity of 3,5 million tons per year; construction of hydraulic facilities - newly formed territory in the water area of the Black Sea; development of the railway yard construction project; registration (cadastral registration, ownership registration) of more than 1000 real property items (land plots, buildings and facilities).

In addition, the following corporate policies, procedures and action plans have been developed, implemented and tested, including the Corporate ethics code (anti-corruption policies and procedures); Regulations on procurement, including, in accordance with the Federal Law 223-FZ that regulates the activity of natural monopoly entities.

Alexander also practices research and teaching activities, and delivers lectures in the HSE, such as anti-corruption compliance. He participates in development of additional education programs for directors of legal services.
